General Builder Wanted
We are looking for a reliable and experienced General Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of construction and maintenance tasks on residential and commercial projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- General building, repair, and maintenance work.
- Bricklaying, blockwork, plastering, and basic carpentry.
- Groundworks, paving, and concrete work.
- Roofing repairs and general property maintenance.
- Reading and following plans and specifications.
- Operating hand and power tools safely.
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Working independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a general builder or in a similar construction role.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Full driving licence essential
- Relevant CSCS card or construction qualifications are an advantage.
