Location: Kingston
Contract: Term-time only
Hours: 3.5 hours per week (3 hours teaching on Sunday + 0.5 hours preparation)
Salary: £3,000 per annum + £323.08 holiday pay (£3,323.08 total)
We are seeking a Cheder Teacher to deliver engaging, creative and high-quality Jewish education in line with our curriculum. You will create a safe, stimulating and enjoyable learning environment, inspire pupils, and work collaboratively as part of a dedicated Cheder staff team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging weekly lessons
- Supporting pupils’ Hebrew reading and progress
- Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom
- Communicating professionally with children and parents
- Contributing to staff training and Cheder activities
About you:
- Solid Jewish education and fluent Ivrit pronunciation
- Creative, enthusiastic and able to inspire children
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative and professional approach
