Education World is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and well-established nursery in Stratford.
This nursery has been serving local families for over 15 years and is known for its strong community ethos, spacious learning environments, and focus on child-led learning. The setting caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years and offers excellent opportunities for ongoing training, mentorship, and career development within a supportive and experienced team.

The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner , you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Working alongside experienced practitioners and room leaders, you will help deliver engaging activities, support children's individual learning journeys, and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring setting where every child can flourish.
This is a full-time, all-year-round position offering stability and the opportunity to become part of a highly regarded early years team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
- Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and achievements.
- Support children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times and personal care where required.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the overall success and positive culture of the nursery.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is desirable.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to provide satisfactory professional references.
