Please note: We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role and candidates must have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. If you require Sponsorship please do not apply, thank you.
This impressive property features over 50 bedrooms alongside a busy restaurant and bar, as well as extensive leisure facilities including a spa.
The hotel is particularly renowned for its strong weddings and events business, hosting a high volume of functions throughout the year, from intimate gatherings to large-scale events.
Significant recent investment has further enhanced the offering, positioning the property for continued growth and success.
Benefits:
- Salary up to £53,000 plus additional tronc and tips
- 45 hour contract
- Opportunity to lead a large, established team
- Work within a thriving and continually developing business
This is a pivotal appointment within the business, offering the opportunity to take full operational responsibility while working closely with ownership and senior leadership.
The role requires a General Manager who is highly visible, leads from the front, and is comfortable being involved across all departments — this is very much a hands-on position rather than a desk-based role.
You will oversee a team of 40+ staff, with all Heads of Department reporting directly to you, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel while driving standards, service, and overall performance.
Duties:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations across the hotel, restaurant, bar, leisure, and events
- Lead, motivate, and develop a large team, including Heads of Department
- Ensure exceptional guest experience across all areas of the business
- Drive performance across weddings, events, and core hotel operations
- Maintain strong operational control, including staffing, standards, and service delivery
- Work closely with senior leadership on the ongoing development of the business
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Manager looking for a hands-on leadership role within a busy, multi-faceted property with a strong reputation and exciting growth potential.
