Job Type: Part-time/Permanent (5 mornings per week)
About Us
The Angel Inn is a welcoming village pub and restaurant with 16 letting bedrooms, serving quality food and offering comfortable accommodation. We pride ourselves on providing excellent food and friendly service to both our local customers and overnight guests.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfasts for our hotel guests and visitors, while also assisting the kitchen team with daily preparation for lunch and dinner service.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early starts, works efficiently under pressure, and takes pride in producing consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast to a high standard for hotel guests and walk-in customers.
- Ensure breakfast service runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Prepare ingredients and complete kitchen prep for the main service.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Follow food safety procedures and kitchen policies.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to support daily operations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a breakfast chef or chef in a busy kitchen.
- Ability to work independently during breakfast service.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings.

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
