We’re Hiring: Construction Project Manager
Shubra Construction Ltd is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple residential construction projects across Croydon and South London.
Our projects include new-build developments, residential conversions and refurbishment works. We need someone who can take full ownership of project delivery, manage site teams and subcontractors, coordinate consultants, and keep projects progressing safely, on time and within budget.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage multiple live residential construction projects.
- Prepare and update construction programmes and short-term lookaheads.
- Manage Site Managers, supervisors, subcontractors and labour.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, building control and other consultants.
- Review drawings and resolve design and technical issues.
- Raise and follow up RFIs and outstanding information.
- Plan labour, subcontractor and material requirements.
- Work closely with the procurement and QS teams.
- Monitor progress, quality, costs and programme risks.
- Chair project meetings and provide weekly progress reports.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are properly implemented.
- Manage inspections, testing, snagging, completion and handover.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good UK residential construction experience.
- Experience in new-build, conversion and refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, setting out and building details.
- Good subcontractor, procurement and programme management skills.
- The ability to manage several projects at the same time.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
- A full UK driving licence.
SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and a construction-related qualification would be beneficial.
Location: Croydon and surrounding South London areas
Position: Full-time

Pay: £42,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
