The Pen and Pencil is a restaurant and bar that opened in Manchester’s Northern Quarter in 2015, with a strong food offering through the day as well as a quality bar offering in the evening, with a great selection of drinks, including signature cocktails served all night. Our aim is to offer customers the best products and service in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We are looking for a fun, focused and motivated individual to join our management team as a duty manager.

Shift pattern will be a mixture of day and evening shifts.
If you have:
· Previous 1-year bar supervisor experience (Essential)
· Previous experience in a busy bar/restaurant (Essential)
· Experience running your own shift
· Key Holder experience
· Barista skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· High attention to detail and great organisational skills
· Confidence and the ability to work in a busy environment
· Warm personality and a great team player
· Genuine passion for great food and drink
· Knowledge of spirits, beers, and wines
· Trustworthy, energetic, and reliable
· Professional, strong customer service skills and a 'can-do' attitude
· Cocktail experience
