Exciting Opportunity at MVA
MVA is looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Infrastructure & Social Value Support Officer to help strengthen and support the Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise and Faith (VCSEF) sectors across Kent and Medway.
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the delivery of MVA’s Infrastructure Contract and Social Value priorities. Working closely with the Infrastructure & Social Value Lead and Senior Management Team, you will help coordinate activity, support stakeholder engagement, contribute to monitoring and reporting, and play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of the Social Impact Gateway.
About the role
You will provide practical support across infrastructure, social value, volunteering, communications and programme delivery activity. This will include building relationships with VCSEF, statutory and corporate partners, supporting events and network sessions, gathering monitoring information, sharing funding opportunities, and contributing to the delivery of wider MVA projects.
You will also lead on the coordination and administration of the Social Impact Gateway (SIG), acting as a first point of contact for enquiries and applications. This will include monitoring and processing applications, carrying out quality assurance checks, liaising with VCSEF organisations, applicants, funders and colleagues, maintaining accurate records, and supporting monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting.
We are looking for someone who
- has experience of working with volunteers or as a volunteer;
- understands the VCSEF sector and the importance of relationship building;
- is confident using digital systems, social media and online platforms;
- can produce clear written updates, summaries and reports;
- is organised, accurate and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
- has a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion;
- is flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Why join MVA?
At MVA, we are working towards a Kent and Medway where communities are active, empowered and connected. Joining our Infrastructure and Social Value Team means being part of work that strengthens the VCSEF sectors, while helping to shape partnerships, influence systems and deliver lasting social impact.
You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of meaningful projects that support communities, improve outcomes and drive positive change across Medway. As part of a supportive, ambitious and values-led team, you’ll be encouraged to bring your ideas, build strong relationships and develop your skills in a role that makes a real difference.
This is an opportunity to join an organisation with deep roots in Kent & Medway and a strong reputation for convening partners, championing communities and creating opportunities for the sector to thrive.
We offer:
- Flexible working arrangements.
- A supportive and collaborative working environment.
- A role where your ideas, skills and experience will be valued.
Most importantly, you'll see first-hand how your work helps strengthen communities and improve lives.
Pay: £27,500.00 per year
