Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated hospitality leader to join our team at Waterside Hotel & Leisure Club. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, profitability, and team development.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of food and beverage.
- Lead and inspire the F&B team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure the department meets financial goals.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to create and implement seasonal menus.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest hygiene standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop the F&B team to enhance their skills and customer service performance.
- Manage the F&B team including rotas, holiday management and HR requirements including 1-2-1s, appraisals and disciplinaries.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services during events and special occasions.
- Duty manager responsibility two times per week.
- Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve the guest experience and drive revenue.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage management, including inventory control, cost management, and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using point of sale (POS) systems, Excel, Word, Outlook and other relevant technology.
- Flexible availability to work shifts including weekends.
