Fitness Apprentice – Mildenhall Hub- National Apprenticeship wage in first 12 months, increasing to National Minimum wage in the 2nd year of service if aged 19 or older
This role is temporary for up to 18 months to complete your Apprenticeship
Abbeycroft is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Fitness team as an Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification alongside gaining valuable experience and making an impact on our members' fitness journeys.
35 hours per week
Rota
Week 1: Monday 10:00-18:00, Tuesday 10:00-18:00, Thursday 10:00-18:00, Saturday 07:30-16:00
Week 2: Monday 14:30-21:30, Tuesday 14:30-21:30, Wednesday 14:30-21:30, Thursday 14:30-21:30, Friday 14:30-21:30
Week 3: Monday 14:30-21:30, Tuesday 14:30-21:30, Thursday 10:00-18:00, Friday 10:00-18:00, Saturday 07:30-16:00
Week 4: Monday 10:00-18:00, Tuesday 10:00-18:00, Wednesday 13:30-21:30, Thursday 13:30-21:30, Friday 13:30-21:30

Key Responsibilities:
· Supporting members in achieving their fitness, health and wellness goals
· Assisting in the delivery of fitness sessions and classes
· Collaborating with the fitness team
· Ensuring the fitness suite is maintained to a high standard
· Providing excellent customer service to all members/customers
· Conducting tours of the facilities to new and current members/customers as well as advising what Abbeycroft can offer them
· Commitment to studying within this role and completing assignments/projects on time
Requirements:
· Responsible individual with a passion for working in leisure, health, and well-being.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Ability to keep on track with Studying and completing this apprenticeship
Qualifications:
· Minimum of a Grade C/Level 4 in English and Maths GCSE’s or Level 2 functional skills
Due to Apprenticeship funding, you must hold the right to work in the UK or have held the right to work in the UK for a minimum of 3 years prior to starting this apprenticeship.
