Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to the highest standard. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Conduct Pre-Sale vehicle inspections to identify and resolve faults.
- Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance work to prepare cars for resale.
- Ensure all vehicles meet road safety and compliance standards before sale.
- Perform diagnostic checks and address mechanical and electrical issues.
- Work closely with the sales team to prioritize vehicles are ready for customer.
- Present vehicles in the best possible condition to enhance customer confidence and keep up the reputation of our company.
Skills
- Level 2/3 NVQ and must have a Full UK Drivers Licence.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Proficiency in using mechanics tools and diagnostic system.
- High attention to detail to ensure vehicles are prepared to a high standard.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information
