Designer (Contractor)
We are hiring for a Designer for Reuters Plus, the commercial creative studio at Reuters, to help bring pitches to life with digital page mocks and designs.
This is a fast-paced role supporting the Reuters Professional Sales team to help envisage what potential content partnerships could look like using Adobe’s Creative Suite.
We are looking for someone able to work to tight deadlines and understand the needs of commercial stakeholders.
Working knowledge of Figma is required. Ability to leverage the latest AI tools to help with speed and design is a distinct advantage. Similarly, experience working for a business publisher or for an international operation.
As part of an experienced creative team within Reuters Professional we can offer a supportive environment and the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of professional clients.
This is a hybrid role that requires the ability to work at least 2 days in the London office, working alongside Reuters Professional team.

About the Role
In this opportunity as designer, you will:

Play an important role in the developing Reuters Plus creative concepts for potential clients, imaging how digital pages and multimedia assets can look if sold.

Communicate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, from Sales, Strategy and Marketing to Social and Production.

Work closely with Reuters Plus Lead Designer to ensure timely creative assets to attract new and existing business
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Designer if your background includes:

Demonstrable experience working with many design tools, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.

Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout design.

Enjoy exploring how AI tools can help you in your design capabilities.

A proven ability to think creatively and develop solutions that align with commercial business objectives.

Have a good understanding and interest in the global business landscape and brand and corporate identities.
