Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our Reablement home in providing engaging and fulfilling activities for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care and creating a vibrant environment for older adults.
Duties
- Organise and lead a variety of activities to cater to the interests and abilities of residents
- Plan and implement activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities meet individual needs
- Coordinate outings, events, and entertainment within the care home
- Maintain accurate records of activity attendance and resident participation
Requirements
- Experience in a care home or assisted living setting is desirable
- Understanding of dementia care principles
- Excellent communication skills to engage with residents and team members
- Ability to organise and manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors through meaningful activities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.72 per hour
