We are looking for an Out-of-School Club Practitioner to join our popular Before and After School Club/Holiday Club.
This role can be either part time, 25 hours per week. The role is 5 days per week, all year around or we would consider two people to cover the shifts, for examples one person cover the morning shift of 7:30-9 and another covering the afternoon shift of 2:30-6. Please note both shifts involve driving a minibus.
Please note, a full UK clean driving license which has been held for 2 years aswell as being over 21 for insurance purposes is essential for this role as you will be required to drive the nursery minibus each day which is a manual.
Part Time Role
You will join our popular Before and After School Club, supporting the children in activities at each end of the day. Your role will include driving the nursery minibus to drop off/collect children at local primary schools.
If you undertake this role part time, as the full 25 hours your role will be a split shift each day with a morning shift (7.30am - 9am) and then an afternoon shift (2.30pm - 6pm) term time.
And then within the summer holidays more hours may be available with longer shift patterns to cover the trips and Forest School sessions.
Through out the half terms we offer Forest School sessions and trips locally through out the week meaning that those shift may change to cover the needs of the Holiday Club needs, which will be discussed in advance. Which could incur a change of shift patterns to a whole day or half days.
This role will include:
- Driving a minibus of up to 8 children to and from school.
- Supported supervision of children aged 4-10 years old.
- Supervising and monitoring the safety of the children through play and meal times.
