This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Technician to step into a varied role combining clinical knowledge, service coordination, and operational improvement.
The Role

This role combines both site-based and office-based responsibilities. You will spend part of your time delivering health surveillance programmes at client sites, building strong relationships and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. The remainder of your time will be office-based, providing operational support, sharing occupational health expertise, and helping to coordinate the successful delivery of services from initial enquiry through to completion.
You will work closely with our Clinical, Operations, and Sales teams, helping to improve processes, support service development, and ensure our clients receive a consistent and exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule Occupational Health services, including drafting initial Health assessments and health surveillance programmes
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
- Provide subject-matter guidance on occupational health processes, pathways, and service delivery
- Act as a point of reference for best practice and support colleagues with queries
- Support clinicians and ensure clinics run efficiently
- Prepare documentation and reports in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Contribute to service improvement and development of occupational health provision
- Support optimisation and effective use of occupational health systems
- Improve handover from Sales to Operations, ensuring clear understanding of client and clinical requirements
- Support onboarding of new client services from point of sale to delivery
- Operate the mobile occupational health unit for on-site visits (as required)
- Deliver occupational health assessments where qualified and competent (as required)
- Support SEQOHS compliance and clinical governance frameworks
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and training to deliver Occupational Health Technician assessments, including audiometry, spirometry, skin surveillance, and HAVS
- Experience reviewing company health surveillance requirements and developing occupational health needs assessments
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence (age 25+ for insurance purposes)
- Experience with occupational health software (desirable)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
