We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Experienced Bar Staff to join our small team at a vibrant micro brewery Taproom, primarily working on weekends. Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to ensure quick turnaround times during busy periods
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards diligently to uphold health regulations
- Manage cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Simple cellar work such as changing kegs and cask
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment and handle any issues promptly
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks to keep the bar well-supplied
Requirements
- Proven experience working in hospitality or restaurant environments, ideally in a high quality craft beer environment
- Ability to work alone and self manage
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, best practices in beverage handling including basic cellar skills such as changing kegs & casks
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and positive interactions
- Basic math skills for handling payments, tips, and inventory counts
- Effective time management to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Ability to work largely on weekends, with flexibility for additional shifts as needed
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters a welcoming atmosphere
