Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic part-time Cleaner to join our team in Dumfries. Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning duties across designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and communal spaces according to health and safety standards.
- Use janitorial equipment and cleaning products safely and effectively to ensure optimal results.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are serviced regularly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
- Maintain a tidy storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
