Are you an experienced, resilient, solutions-focused individual with a passion for supporting people in custody to secure stable housing and reduce reoffending? This could be the role for you.
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading rehabilitation and resettlement charity, delivering housing interventions within custody settings across South Wales. You’ll work directly with ex offenders preparing for release, supporting safe and sustainable housing outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering 1-2-1 housing support to individuals in custody
- Completing housing needs assessments and structured action plans
- Working with Probation, prison staff and housing providers
- Sourcing accommodation in the private rented sector
- Supporting housing readiness ahead of release
What we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of housing and welfare benefits systems
- Experience supporting adults with complex needs or offending backgrounds
- Experience creating structured support or tenancy plans
Requirements: Ideally HMPPS Level 1 vetting (or willingness to undergo vetting)
