Summary
This role is a SEND support KS1 TA with an option to do after school clubs. We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (KS1) with SEND experience join our team. This role is vital in supporting early years education and ensuring that every child receives personalized attention to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to KS1 students.
- Assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
- Support children with special educational needs and disabilities, including those with autism.
- Encourage positive behavior and social development among pupils.
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources for daily activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents to support student success.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children, especially in early years or KS1 settings.
- Strong understanding of special education needs and disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor young learners.
- Experience working with children with autism is highly desirable.
- Passion for supporting children's development and inclusive education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in childcare or education are preferred.

Pay: £12.71-£14.32 per hour
