Funeral Arranger
Location: Woodford
Salary: £25,500–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role
We are looking for a caring, organised and professional Funeral Arranger to join our team based in Woodford.
Our Funeral Arrangers are an important point of contact for bereaved families and support them throughout the funeral arrangement process.
This role requires someone with excellent communication and administrative skills who can provide families with compassionate support while ensuring every detail of their funeral arrangements is recorded and organised correctly.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting and supporting bereaved families.
- Taking funeral instructions and accurately recording families' wishes.
- Supporting families throughout the funeral arrangement process.
- Preparing funeral estimates and associated documentation.
- Liaising with crematoria and cemeteries.
- Liaising with churches, clergy and celebrants.
- Coordinating flowers, Orders of Service, notices and other funeral requirements.
- Arranging chapel visits where required.
- Maintaining regular communication with families.
- Managing telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
- Ensuring funeral documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Working closely with Funeral Directors and the Operations & Logistics team.
- Ensuring all relevant information is passed accurately to the operational team.
- Maintaining the professional presentation of the funeral home.
- Providing a compassionate, personal and professional service from first contact through to completion.
About You
You should be compassionate, approachable and highly organised, with excellent communication and administrative skills.
Previous funeral-arranging or bereavement-sector experience would be advantageous.
We will also consider candidates from strong customer service, administration, care or other professional client-facing backgrounds who demonstrate the right qualities for the role.

Salary within each advertised range will be determined according to experience, qualifications, responsibilities and suitability for the position.
