Sweeper Driver up to 7.5ton
AM 6am - 2pm and PM 2pm - 10pm both shifts available please state on application you preference.

We are recruiting for Street Cleansing Sweeper - Driver up to 7.5ton working on behalf of the Borough Council.
The posts are for driver operatives for up to 7.5ton (Cat C1) vehicles and or mechanical sweepers.
For these posts you will need to hold a full valid manual UK driving licence, with the ability to drive a range of vehicles category C1 (up to 7.5 ton) as a minimum, and a valid CPC licence.
Your duties will include, sweeping and removal of controlled waste within the Borough (including roads, pavements and shopping areas) using a range of tools and equipment.
You will be required to:

Work alone or as part of a team

To transfer waste to the collection vehicle for transport to a waste processing facility

Be on your feet all day and work in all weather conditions

To maintain a courteous and efficient collection service to members of the public and to project a positive and professional image of Enfield Council always

To ensure that any potential danger to yourself, other employees or the public is minimised

To have a basic literacy and numeracy skills to enable you to complete basic associated paperwork and have the ability to read maps and operate mobile technology.
