We’re looking for experienced, friendly, and reliable individuals to join our team at Borough Street Bar as Part-Time Bar Staff or Bar Supervisor, depending on experience.
This role suits someone confident behind the bar who enjoys taking ownership of a shift and is comfortable working independently when required. You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere, serve great drinks, and ensure the bar runs smoothly day to day.
Hours & Rota
- Part-time position
- Two-week rotating rota
- Approximately 20–23 hours per week
- Shifts include evenings and weekends
- Some shifts will involve working independently, particularly during quieter periods
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to a high standard
- Confidently run the bar during your shift, either independently or with limited support
- Deliver friendly, attentive service and engage positively with customers
- Process payments accurately and responsibly
- Maintain stock levels and general bar organisation during shifts
- Keep the bar clean, tidy, and compliant with food safety and licensing standards
- Contribute to a relaxed, social, and welcoming environment for customers
Requirements
- Previous bar experience is essential
- Confident working independently and taking responsibility for a shift
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
- Good understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer experience
