Working in a well-resourced multi-disciplinary OH team, across a period of maternity leave, the incumbent of this temporary position will support occupational health service delivery, and development, and take a leading role in the maintenance of the established audit processes and associated data collection & analysis, as well as ensuring the annual quality standard [SEQOHS] requirements and ongoing accreditation.
Although significant topic-related understanding and experience is required, this role offers the right person an opportunity for professional development within a high-performing award-winning team.
You will maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures.
Responsible for the safe custody of medication, including checking and administration.
Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
Deliver core OH clinical services undertaken by all ICHNT OH B7 SNR OHAs, including own caseload, health clearances and duty-nurse activities.
Support junior members of the clinical team, and the administrative team, as required.
Maintain the routine clinical audit activity, scheduled for the contract period, which is nec-essary to maintain OH quality standard and ensure safe practice and improve ICHNT OH service delivery.
Responsible for process review and development, required for ongoing safe and effective clinical practice, and lead on process roll-out and the associated training of others.
Update clinical guidelines to ensure the delivery of best OH practice, and remains current.
Support IPC OH activities in the absence of the B7 Snr OHA: IPC lead
