We are looking for someone to do 3-4 nights per week from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.

Duties
- Monitor residents’ safety and well-being throughout the night, responding promptly to any needs or emergencies
- Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, repositioning, or hydration as outlined in individual care plans
- Conduct regular checks of the environment to ensure safety standards are maintained and report any hazards or issues
- Support residents in maintaining their routines and comfort during overnight hours, providing reassurance and companionship
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations accurately using IT systems or paper records
- Communicate effectively with day staff and emergency services when necessary, ensuring seamless handovers and clear reporting
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to residents’ comfort and safety
Requirements
- Proven ability to communicate clearly in English, demonstrating excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within a care home or home care setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accurately
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving community or home visits
- Comfortable using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, colleagues, and external professionals
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and proactive during night shifts to handle emergencies confidently
