We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our intimate award-winning team.
Wine knowledge is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication.
- Restock fridges and clean glassware to ensure an efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred - but not essential.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Strong hospitality and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Helpful Skills:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
