We are seeking a professional and friendly, experienced Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage appointment scheduling and rescheduling using practice management software
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient records and update personal information
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and processing correspondence
- Assist with billing procedures and processing payments
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations
- Support the team with additional administrative duties as required
Skills
- Ideally proven office experience, within a dental setting and software
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using administrative software and practice management systems
- Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and confidentially
- Prior administrative or dental office experience is desirable, but full training will be provided for our specific practice management and CRM systems (e.g., Dentally, Boxly)

Hours of work:
21 hours per week, working Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday mornings, with Saturday availability required as needed. The role is expected to expand to include full-day Fridays in the future.
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
