We are seeking an enthusiastic Painter to join our team and contribute to our mission to be the leading service provider for Local Authority repairs services.
Purpose of Role:
You will provide strategic management and support to the contract team on all matters relating to service delivery, client relations, resourcing, and people development. Our Company Vision To be the leading service provider for Local Authority repairs services. The team are currently working on a range of projects and long-term contracts for various clients in and around London.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Review, develop and implement procedures for effective and economic contract management
. ▪ Actively procure new contracts through networking and relationship building.
▪ Ensure all new contracts are mobilised setting out clear expectations and financial viability prior to commencement.
▪ Manage projects using effective resource planning, programming, and project controls, liaise daily with operational team and provide reports to directors.
▪ Retain supply chain and trade account relationships to negotiate preferred rates.
▪ Review efficiencies within the department with regards to processes, policies, and procedures.
▪ Continually identify future service challenges and opportunities and develop appropriate strategic approaches to address these.
▪ Keep abreast of changing regulations and legislation. Managerial Responsibilities Demonstrate strong leadership and develop positive collaborative working across the wider team.
▪ Oversee and mentor the training and development of the contract management team (8- 10 people). Proactively monitor performance, evaluating training needs and qualification opportunities and addressing areas of underperformance, where necessary.
▪ Support and collaborate with the wider team.
▪ Identify statutory Health and Safety obligations to include working in accordance with ISO 9001. This is achieved with the support of our external consultants.
Skills/Experience:
▪ Previous experience of overseeing aids & adaption projects.
▪ Excel in project management with vast experience in successfully executing projects within a budget, timescale and to the desired quality standard.
▪ Negotiate with effective communication and be able to generate reports to an exceptionally high standard.

Qualifications:
▪ NVQ Level 6 Construction Management
▪ CSCS Black Card
▪ SMSTS
Must have a full, clean UK driving licence - travel within the M25 required for the role.
