Location: The Hayfield, County Road, Ormskirk
Pay: National Minimum Wage (dependent on age, in line with UK legislation)
Hours: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: Flexible start time available, making this an ideal role for someone looking to work around the school run or other daytime commitments.
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to join our team at The Hayfield, a friendly community pub in Ormskirk.
This is a part-time role responsible for ensuring the pub is clean, safe and welcoming for our customers each day. You’ll work independently to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises.
Duties Include
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming all customer and staff areas
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Dusting and wiping surfaces throughout the pub
- Cleaning tables, chairs, skirting boards and internal glass where required
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Spot cleaning marks from walls, doors and fixtures
- Maintaining the cleanliness of entranceways and other public areas
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damaged equipment
- Following health and safety procedures and safe use of cleaning products
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and take pride in maintaining high standards
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
- A positive attitude and good attention to detail
