Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Bar and Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations of the bar and restaurant sections
- Supervise and support staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service are maintained at all times
- Support food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover for efficient service
- Assist in training new team members on service procedures and food safety standards
- Oversee bar operations including drink preparation, stock control, and maintaining cleanliness
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
- Support in organising promotional events or special offers to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or hotel environments, with supervisory or team management responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
- Experience in serving beverages and managing bar operations including food safety standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively
- Sound understanding of hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and kitchen management
- Previous experience with culinary tasks such as food preparation or cooking is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant management
- Cellar management, cask ales, line cleans and stock rotation.

Pay: £24,420.00-£39,951.90 per year
