Warehouse Manager AND Warehouse Operative – Full Time

KEFL is looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Manager to manage the day-to-day running of our busy warehouse.
We are looking for someone with previous warehouse experience, ideally with experience managing or supervising a warehouse team.
This is a hands-on role, so you will be expected to work alongside the team when needed while making sure the warehouse runs smoothly and all daily work is completed on time.
Please note: KEFL specialises in gym and fitness equipment, so this is a physically demanding warehouse environment. Both Warehouse Managers and Warehouse Operatives must be physically able to safely handle, move and work with heavy weights and gym equipment throughout the working day.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the warehouse team throughout the day
- Making sure all customer orders are picked, packed and ready before the daily courier collections
- Keeping the team organised and making sure work is completed on time
- Checking that orders are being picked and packed correctly
- Processing customer returns when they arrive back at the warehouse
- Receiving incoming stock and deliveries
- Unloading containers and stock deliveries
- Counting and checking stock received
- Putting stock away correctly and organising products on warehouse racks
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
- Helping with picking, packing, loading and other warehouse duties when required
- Handling and moving heavy gym equipment on a daily basis
- Dealing with warehouse issues that arise during the day
- Making sure staff are following the correct warehouse processes
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse
Working Hours
This is a full-time, hourly-paid position, normally working 5–6 days per week.
The Warehouse Manager will be expected to be present and responsible for the warehouse on their working days.
Hours may vary depending on workload, order volumes and incoming stock deliveries. Some days may require longer hours.
You will be paid for all hours worked. For example, if you work 10 hours in a day, you will be paid for the full 10 hours.
Flexibility with working days and hours is important, particularly during busy periods or when containers are being delivered.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience
- Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience is preferred
- Forklift licence/certification would be beneficial but is not essential
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to manage a small warehouse team
- Organised and able to work to daily courier collection deadlines
- Physically able to safely handle and move heavy weights and gym equipment throughout the day
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment
- Willing to be hands-on and help the team when required
- Able to work 5–6 days per week
- Flexible with longer working hours when required
- Good attention to detail
- Someone who takes responsibility and makes sure the job gets done
