TA & HLTA Lower Junior role
The Governing Body at Aughton Town Green Primary School is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic TA/HLTA to support the teaching and learning at Town Green. Initially, they will work in our Y3/4 Class supporting children appropriately.
This position will require the successful candidate to work primarily in a traditional Teaching Assistant role, however, there will be 2 afternoons a week where they will be required to cover classes as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
Our new TA/HLTA will be fully involved in all teaching and learning activities in the class; as well as supporting learning throughout the lower juniors. As a result of this they must have a good understanding of the National Curriculum in year 3 and 4, as well as the developmental needs of this age group. The school will provide an effective team of colleagues to support and further develop the successful candidate both personally and professionally.
