Job Overview
ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED DHL or DPD/YODEL DRIVERS or LWB driver with experience in multidrop.
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to communicate effectively with both warehouse staff and clients.
Duties
- Safely drive a van to deliver goods to various locations as scheduled.
- Load and unload items, ensuring that all deliveries are handled with care.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the van is kept clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on duty.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this position.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and delivery processes is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with the role.
