About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated Office Administrator to provide essential support to our project and operations teams. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, both in person and over the phone, while providing crucial day-to-day administrative support to keep our operations running smoothly. This hands-on role combines travel coordination for frequent site visits, with core office administration in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Front of House: Greet visitors either on phone or in person, manage the reception area, and ensure a professional, welcoming environment including emails, phone/reception duties
- Office Management: Monitor and order office supplies, manage incoming/outgoing post, and assist other departments as required.
- Scheduling: Coordinate meeting room bookings, manage appointments, and maintain office calendars.
- Communications: Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls; handle general email and in-person inquiries.
- Maintain and update office records and databases including management of Vehicle Fleet ref Insurance, Maintenance, Tax, MOT etc
- General administrative tasks: correspondence, filing, data entry, invoice processing, purchase orders, and record-keeping. meeting prep, calendar/diary management, and ad-hoc support.
- General Admin Support: Liaise with and provide admin support to the Logistics and Accounts Department. Assist with Travel and Accommodation Bookings, provide, Log and monitor Purchase Orders on appropriate systems.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role would be ideal but we are willing to provide training to the right applicant.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, professional telephone manner.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Some SAGE knowledge preferred but not essential as training can be given.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy work environment.
- Ability to work independently

- 5 no GCSE (including English Language or IT) or equivalent (preferred)
- 2 years admin experience preferred but not essential as full training can be given to right applicant.
- We are willing to work with an apprentice and provide NVQ – Level 2-3 Training with further progression possible.
Work Location: Office Based
Pay: £25,420.00-£27,420.00 per year
