Our holiday camps combine circus arts, creativity, movement and confidence-building in a fun, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to challenge themselves, make friends and discover new skills.
We're looking for an enthusiastic Acrobatics Teacher to join our Wandsworth Summer Camp team.
The Role:
As our Acrobatics Teacher, you will deliver engaging, safe and progressive acrobatics sessions for children aged approximately 6–12 years. Sessions should be accessible to complete beginners while providing opportunities for more confident children to develop further.
You will be responsible for creating an energetic, encouraging atmosphere where children feel safe to try new skills, build confidence and have fun.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality acrobatics sessions throughout the camp.
- Teach a range of age-appropriate skills including:
- Forward and backward rolls
- Cartwheels
- Handstands
- Bridges
- Balances
- Partner acrobatics (where appropriate)
- Strength, flexibility and conditioning exercises
- Adapt activities for different ages, confidence levels and abilities.
- Maintain excellent behaviour management using positive reinforcement.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely with appropriate progressions.
- Carry out warm-ups and cool-downs.
- Work closely with the Camp Leader and wider teaching team.
- Assist with registration, transitions and general camp activities where required.
- Support children to build confidence, resilience and teamwork.
- Report any safeguarding or welfare concerns immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Help with setting up and packing away equipment each day.
Essential Requirements
- Experience teaching acrobatics, gymnastics, circus or movement to children.
- Confident leading groups of up to 15 children.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Friendly, energetic and reliable.
- Passionate about helping children develop confidence through movement.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Circus teaching experience.
- Gymnastics coaching qualification.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Safeguarding training.
- Experience working on holiday camps or in schools.

Children rotate through a variety of exciting activities throughout the day, including circus skills, aerial arts, creative games and movement workshops. Acrobatics is one of the core activities and plays an important role in helping children develop strength, coordination, confidence and resilience.
