The duties and responsibilities as a Class 1 ADR Driver are:

Ensuring adequate load security at all times
-
Complying with legal and company vehicle segregation rules
-
Ensuring tachograph modes are used correctly
-
Ensuring the correct PPE Operations are observed at all times
-
Checking the accuracy of the load before commencement of deliveries
-
Utilising the correct manual handling equipment
-
Accurately recording information regarding delivery and collection
-
Safely delivering/collecting goods at customers/supplier’s premises
-
Driving in a safe and appropriate manner at all times
-
Reporting all accidents, incidents or near misses to the relevant personnel
-
Assisting with the training of new personnel as requested by line management
-
Ensuring compliance to all quality and responsible care procedures
The ideal candidate for a Class 1 ADR Driver would need:
-
Holds and ADR licence and Driver CPC
-
Comfortable with Low Pressure Discharge deliveries
-
Good customer service skills
-
Comfortable using an Iphone and mobile apps
-
