Dog Squad London are looking for a new team member to join our daycare team.
We are a small dog daycare (maximum capacity 20 dogs/ day) and are looking for a full-time team member (4 days work per week, Monday - Thursday).
You will be a positive, dog-loving individual with bags of initiative. You will be an all-rounder, happy to ‘muck in’ with all levels of jobs around the centre.
The role will involve:
- Drive company car to collect the dogs from their homes and bring them to HQ, and later drop them back in the afternoons to their homes
- Supervising dogs in our care; feeding them (where necessary), walking them, giving them lots of cuddles and affection, initiating enrichment games and ensuring they have a happy, safe and controlled day
- Acting as the face of the business, welcoming and meeting/greeting customers
- Reporting on any physical or behavioural changes, taking photographs/videos of the dogs enjoying their day to share with owners
- Cleaning up after the dogs, and ensuring that all health/safety and dog welfare rules are followed and upheld to the highest standards
- Supporting with maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the centre
- Complete admin tasks including but not limited to; replying to client emails, handling enquiries, arranging the schedule
Must have requirements:
- Most importantly- an adoration and pure love for dogs of all shapes and sizes
- Live within appropriate traveling distance of Wandsworth Park (less than 30 minutes)
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Able to confidently drive (manual car) in London
Ideally:
- At least 1 year experience working with dogs in a groomers / kennels / day care environment etc, or a qualification in animal management / pet care or other relevant experience
- Ofqual Regulated Level 3 Professional day care and boarding qualified or hold a Level 2 in a relevant pet care (not essential if significant work experience demonstrable)
- Full clean driving license (own car is a bonus)
Please note - this is a physically challenging role, working in all weathers outside, lifting, bending etc whilst controlling and cleaning up after the dogs. Do not apply if you are not ready for this.

You will be joining our established 5*-reviewed daycare with lots of wonderful doggos!
The role is 4 days/week, Monday - Thursday, with the potential to work some extra Fridays as needed. The hours vary by day, but always fall between 7am - 6.45pm, with a 'standard' day being approx 7am - 5 / 5.30pm.
The pay is £12.80 per hour.
