Are you an analytical professional with a keen eye for detail, eager to contribute to the integrity of healthcare data? We are seeking experienced clinical coders to join our team here at Angel Hill Surgery, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation. This position is pivotal in translating complex medical information from letters into coded data that supports high-quality patient care, clinical research, and effective healthcare management.
This role is offered on a 3 month fixed-term contract, with extension considered, and on a full-time, or close to full-time, basis. You may be requested to undertake additional hours to cover sickness and holidays of other members of the workflow/clinical coding team. These extra hours will be at any time between 0800 and 1830 Monday to Friday. The maximum hours per week will be 37.5.
As a clinical coder, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of coding and classifying medical diagnoses and procedures according to established coding systems. Your meticulous work will be essential in maintaining the accuracy of health records, supporting healthcare analytics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
