Plean Dene is home to 12 amazing people with learning disabilities and/or autism. For many, it has been their home for years, a place of familiarity, friendship and opportunity. We have a blend of experienced team members and new talent, and we're looking for an Assistant Manager who can help take the service to the next level.

You'll work alongside our established Registered Manager to create a service where people are supported to explore new opportunities, build independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences in their community. From helping people try something new for the first time to leading a motivated team, you'll be at the heart of making great things happen.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you will:
- Support and develop a dedicated team through positive leadership and coaching
- Help oversee support plans and drive our transition to digital care planning
- Maintain high standards across the home environment and quality of support
- Champion person-led approaches that put people's goals and aspirations first
- Work in partnership with families and advocates
- Lead by example, balancing management responsibilities with hands-on support
- Help create opportunities for people to learn, grow, connect and thrive
No two days are the same. You'll have dedicated time for management duties alongside protected time working directly with people, building relationships and supporting the team. You will work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends and undertaking on-call duties.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Positive, proactive and organised
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
- A confident communicator with the potential to lead and inspire others
- Qualified to Level 3 in a health and social care-related field
- Experienced in providing direct support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism
- Keen to develop their management skills and continue progressing their career
