We are looking for an ambitious, team-oriented front of house member to join our growing restaurant located on the beautiful Falmouth Marina. Homely, casual dining. Community is at the heart of our business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, assisting with food and drink service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Previous restaurant or bar experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers
- Serving at the bar
- Taking food and drink orders
- Waiting tables
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and allergen information, to assist guests effectively
- Keep the service area clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- A positive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- A genuine interest in food, beverages, and the hospitality industry
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour
