We are currently looking for part-time waiting / bar staff to join our team. You would be joining our already highly skilled and experienced team at the The Plume of Feathers.
The successful candidates would ideally be flexible with the shifts they work and be prepared to work their fair share of Fridays and Saturdays - we are shut on Sundays and Mondays. A little experience from a similar position and bar experience would be great but we would also love to hear from candidates of any age who are enthusiastic, hard-working, professional, reliable and have a good team ethic. The majority of the shifts available would be in the evenings or at weekends so could also be an ideal first job while you are still at school.
The Plume is situated in the heart of Sherborne with enviable views of The Abbey in a 15th century building which is full of character. Here, we offer a unique style of food but we still work with the best ingredients and to the very high and exacting standards that we have set for ourselves at our previous venues locally - the 2 AA Rosette, Rose and Crown Trent, and the 2 AA rosette, The Green Sherborne. At The Plume, we serve 'Italian Small Plates' alongside 50 Italian wines by the glass, a range of cocktails and much more. The pub has an approx 80 seater bar/restaurant with lots of cosy corners, a stunning 50 seater covered hamstone courtyard, a private dining room and perfectly situated B&B rooms. We are also trying our best to make the venue as 'Green' as possible from signing a 100% Green Gas energy contract to reducing our use of plastic and much more in between.
