Job Summary
Liam Bacon Ltd, formed in 2013, is a privately-owned construction company specialising in property refurbishment. We are based in Ecclesfield, Sheffield and work closely with local authorities, housing associations and private customers. We carry out various domestic refurbishments across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire & East Midlands. As a result of recent contract wins, we're looking for a joiner (multi-skilled) to join our team.
Duties
- Undertake general Joinery tasks including fitting kitchens, renewing internal/external doors & frames, fitting windows, flooring, skirtings & general Joinery repairs and maintenance, the ability to multi-skill would be advantageous.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other trades (such as Plumbers/Electricians/Plasterers) to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- You will have NVQ Level 2 in a specific trade i.e. Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent with the ability to undertake other various trade work
- A full Driving Licence
- You will have experience of repairs and maintenance work within both void and tenanted properties
- You will have a sound understanding of the construction industry in particular the building trade including issues surrounding legislation, Health and Safety, manual handling, working at heights etc
- A good knowledge and experience of working within social housing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
