We’re looking for a full-time exceptional maintenance technician to join our maintenance team in this friendly family business. They must be someone who takes pride in their work, paying attention to detail, along with offering some flexibility when it comes to the hours of work - as you will appreciate that once a job is started it needs to be completed!
In this role, you will work 45 to 47.5 hours a week Monday – Friday. Your duties will include working within a small team completing general maintenance around the garage, and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks.
As a hands-on role, duties include dealing with a wide spectrum of maintenance within the garage depending on your ability: from changing a light bulb to fixing a leak. You will be expected to:
- Respond to maintenance issues
- Carry out routine maintenance
- Promptly and accurately report any damage to the company assets
About you:
We’d love to hear from you if you are a self-motivated and hardworking team player with drive, ambition, energy, and enthusiasm. You will have:
- Technical skills or discipline (i.e. Carpentry, Plumbing or Single Phase Electrics) – Essential
- City And Guilds / NVQ 2 or equivalent in Plumbing / Carpentry / Painting / Plastering / Air-Con
- Basic plumbing, carpentry & electrical skills
- Proven experience in property maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- IT literacy in internet browsers and Microsoft Office
- A Full UK driver’s license
