Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- MUST be cocktail trained.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age is respected.
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle transactions efficiently.
- Monitor alcohol consumption levels of guests responsibly, promoting safe drinking practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, mixology techniques and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak times.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Prior experience in hospitality roles that emphasize customer service, serving, and teamwork.
