Salary: £16 - £18 per Hour
Part time Hours: 25 hours per week, rota-based according to the needs of the business
About the Role
We are looking for a driven, organised, and proactive individual to join our operations team. This is a hands-on role, working closely with our Head of Operations & Warehouse manager to ensure the seamless planning, organisation, and execution of events, while managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in being highly organised, and wants to play a key role in supporting a growing business. A full, valid UK driving licence is essential, and you must be confident driving vans.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
● Oversee warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and efficiency.
● Work under the super vision of the Warehouse Manager to ensure all events are packed, prepared, and dispatched accurately and on time.
● Liaise closely with the kitchen team to coordinate event requirements.
● Set up events on-site and manage back-of-house event staff.
● Drive company vans to and from event locations as an Event Driver/Porter.
● Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records.
● Manage company vehicles, including servicing, maintenance, and compliance.
● Organise deliveries and collections for events.
● Assist with venue management and general building maintenance.
● Manage event equipment, hire items, and associated logistics. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be:
● Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
● Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
● A confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
● Experienced in warehouse, logistics, operations, or event management (preferred).
● Confident driving vans and holding a full UK driving licence.
● Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends when required for events.
