Short-Term Rental Cleaner – Luss
We’re looking for a reliable and thorough cleaner to look after a busy holiday cottage in Luss.
Start date: 31 August
The cottage is approximately 70 m² and has regular bookings, with almost daily changeovers during the busy summer months. We’re looking for someone dependable who can help us keep the property consistently spotless and ready for arriving guests.
The property comprises:
1 double bedroom
1 twin bedroom
1 single bedroom
Living room
Dining room
Kitchen
Shower room
Separate WC
Hall and stairs
The role includes:
Fully cleaning the property between guests
Changing and making all beds
Cleaning the kitchen, shower room and WC
Vacuuming and mopping throughout
Dusting and ensuring a high standard of presentation
Washing, drying and ironing bed linen and towels
Checking that the property is properly presented and ready for the next guests
Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or missing items
Laying out daily shower-room items, including shampoo, conditioner and soap
Refilling supplies such as hand wash, laundry detergent, toilet rolls and kitchen roll
Wiping down outdoor tables and chairs weekly
Checking that the parking permit and keys are in place for the next guests
Checking that the Wi-Fi and electric radiators are switched on so that smart functions can operate
Changing doormats when they become dirty
Ensuring cupboards and drawers are empty and clean
Empty bins and replace bin bags
Clearing wood burning stove and laying out kindling and wood for 1 burn.
During the summer, there can be changeovers most days, so good availability and reliability are important.
The current changeover window is between 11am and 2pm however this has been changed to 11am to 3pm for any future booking made after the 20th of August.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has an excellent eye for detail
Is reliable and able to work independently
Can manage laundry and ironing as part of the turnaround
Is flexible during busy periods
Ideally lives locally or within easy travelling distance of Luss
Has previous holiday-let or Airbnb cleaning experience, which would be helpful but is not essential

Hours: Variable depending on bookings, particularly during the summer
Changeover time: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Start date: 31 August
Pay: £65 including laundry.
