We are looking for a Director of Business Services who can provide strategic leadership across our operational and corporate support functions. You will oversee service delivery improve internal systems and ensure that teams have the structure resources and guidance needed to perform effectively.
This is a senior leadership position for someone who can balance long term planning with practical day to day management. You will work closely with directors department heads clients and external partners to ensure our business services remain efficient reliable and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Services Leadership:
Lead and coordinate corporate services administration facilities procurement supplier management and internal support operations.
Operational Strategy:
Develop and implement business service strategies that support company objectives improve productivity and strengthen organisational performance.
Service Delivery:
Ensure that internal and external business services are delivered consistently efficiently and to an agreed standard.
Team Leadership:
Manage support teams and department leads. Set clear expectations review performance provide coaching and support professional development.
Process Improvement:
Review existing workflows policies and systems. Identify opportunities to reduce delays control costs and improve service quality.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage departmental budgets monitor expenditure and ensure resources are used responsibly.
Stakeholder Management:
Build strong working relationships with senior leaders clients suppliers and external service providers.
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure business operations follow company policies contractual requirements data protection standards and relevant UK regulations.
Performance Reporting:
Develop key performance indicators and provide regular operational reports to senior management.
Change Management:
Lead business improvement projects and support teams through organisational and operational change.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 7 years of experience in business operations corporate services shared services or a related leadership function with a minimum of 3 years in a senior management role.
Leadership:
Strong experience managing multidisciplinary teams department heads or business support functions.
Business Knowledge:
A solid understanding of operational planning financial control procurement service delivery and organisational governance.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Decision Making:
Strong judgement and the ability to assess complex situations prioritise effectively and make practical business decisions.
Technology:
Comfortable using business management systems reporting platforms Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
Mindset:
You are commercially aware organised and results focused. You can improve standards without creating unnecessary complexity and you understand how strong business services contribute to company growth.
Pay: £58,686.00-£156,200.00 per year
