Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective parts or components
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers and assist with equipment operation
- Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job
- Collaborate with the service team to improve processes and customer satisfaction
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience as a field service technician or in a similar role
- The candidate should have either a mechanical, electronical or electrical background or Software and customer support background.
- Full UK driver's licence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel across UK and the Republic of Ireland
