Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic for guests and staff alike. A strong emphasis on customer service is essential, as you will be interacting with guests and responding to their needs.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure a pristine environment.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and communal areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A basic understanding of cooking is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
