Role Purpose
We’re currently recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Electrician to join our Stadium Operations department to help us take things to the next level.
You will report to the shift supervisor and will work alongside a multi-skilled engineering team and specialist contractors.
The role is expected to participate in a call out rota to provide emergency reactive response outside of normal working hours.
About You
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works, statutory inspections and non-destructive testing as directed, on all electrical installations, plant, machinery, and equipment, as well as organise & engage in small installation works, etc.
- Liaise with THFC FM helpdesk and subcontractors to deliver maintenance across the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Campus to a high standard and in accordance with the maintenance schedules within SFG20 and/or Manufacturers guidelines
- Maintain electrical equipment and installations ensuring they are compliant with BS7671 wiring regulations
- Point of call for daily maintenance, re-active electrical faults and other tasks as required.
- Complete suitable dynamic risk assessments and method statements prior to undertaking any works and be able to document in full, to ensure safe working practices continue
- Provide support to BMS/ LCS systems with fault finding and repair on low voltage AC/DC control systems
- Available on rotation, for out of hours call-out working (1 week in 8)
- Support Stadium and Campus events with a flexible approach to carry out other/ additional tasks, projects and assistance as requested by Operations Management
- Complete Pre-Event Action Plans (PEAPs) to support Stadium preparations for each event as required for the Safety Certificate
- Support the production and review of relevant THFC procedures, processes, PPM’s, and technical literature
- The role on occasions may include the need to perform tasks outside of the electrical field along with the co-ordination of small works and the supervision of contractors
- To be an advocate in energy consumption reduction, ensuring optimum efficiency and cost savings through all services within the Stadium and Campus
Person Specification
Qualifications / Training
- A relevant electrical qualification (such as City & Guilds 2360, 2365 & 2391) or equivalent recognized qualification at level 3
- 18th Edition
- Authorised Person trained for LV systems desirable
Skills & Experience
- IPAF/PASMA trained preferred
- Health and Safety training such as IOSH, NEBOSH desirable
- BMS/ LCS and EMS experience Preferred
- Knowledge of Static Inverters and UPS Systems
- Hold a Full UK driving licence
- Health and Safety training (IOSH/ NEBOSH) desirable
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Thorough knowledge of safe working practises
- Good level of IT (MS suite), administration and communication skills
