Kitchen Porter – Campo, Whitefield
We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Porter to join the team at Campo.
This is an important role within our busy kitchen, helping the chefs keep everything clean, organised and running smoothly throughout service. We’re looking for someone who works well as part of a team, is happy getting stuck in and can keep pace during busy shifts.
The role
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Washing plates, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the pot wash and kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised
- Ensuring equipment is cleaned, sanitised and returned to the correct place
- Keeping on top of waste, bins and recycling throughout the shift
- Helping with deliveries, stock and general kitchen organisation
- Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Helping the wider kitchen team wherever needed during busy services
What we’re looking for
- Previous Kitchen Porter or hospitality experience is helpful, but not essential
- Reliable and punctual
- Hard-working with a good attitude
- Able to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment
- Comfortable with a physical role involving standing, lifting and carrying
- A team player who is willing to get stuck in
- Available to work evenings and weekends
